Bill 141 amended certain provisions of the Civil Code of Quebec (C.C.Q.) concerning the obligations of syndicates, co-owners and insurers. Several of these amendments took effect on December 13, 2018. The resulting changes had a number of impacts, some significant, especially on claims settlement.
